Alton, Hampshire, 10 February 2006: Bespoke software development specialists, Compsoft plc of Alton, Hampshire have signed a contract with Cheshire-based Dial a Seat to provide a bespoke online ticket booking portal. Using Microsoft ASP.NET and associated technologies, Compsoft`s Bespoke Development Team are making full use of their extensive development experience and flexible methodology to ensure completion of an aggressive phase 1 delivery deadline of mid March 2006. Dial a Seat must achieve this deadline to fulfil an obligation with a new client, the Moscow State Circus.
In order to understand the business and its unique needs, Compsoft worked with Dial a Seat to specify a software solution that both addresses the immediate needs and paves the way for medium and long term requirements. The result is a Microsoft ASP.NET solution hosted off-site that integrates with the existing internal management system using secure Web Services, delivering real-time ticket availability to customers booking seats using the new web site and both a telephone call-centre.
