13th September 2006, Alton, Hampshire. Compsoft confirmed today that it has
acquired the status of Microsoft Certified Partner.
According to Microsoft's
Partner Program website, "Certified Partners represent a high degree
of competence and expertise with Microsoft technologies. All Certified Partners
have access to a rich set of benefits that can help them gain an advantage
in the marketplace and build revenue, sales momentum, and prominence while
increasing their market impact."
Phil
Lenton, Managing Director of Compsoft plc, commented, "We're
very pleased to have become Certified Partners with Microsoft, as this brings
benefits for both us and our customers. For us, it is a recognition of the
skills and experience of Microsoft technologies which we now possess, and
for our customers it is a reassurance for them to know we benefit from enhanced
support, additional tools and resources, and advance previews of new technologies." Lenton
continued, "We now want to achieve the top level of Gold Certified
Partner to really underline our expertise and help us to stand out further
in the marketplace."
Compsoft has been using Microsoft technologies, predominantly C++, for many
years to build its own database development tool, Equinox.
However, over the past three years Compsoft has increasingly been building
bespoke web-based systems using Microsoft
.NET, the latest generation of programming tools designed specifically
for developing Internet-enabled applications.
